There was a patch released for the SafeMoon Wallet for iOS and Android users, which includes backend/infrastructure upgrades and prepares the app for upcoming updates.
🎓 Blockchain Tech and the Education Sector
When people think of blockchain, it’s usually in regards to cryptocurrencies. Although that’s how it became popular, several industries have a lot to gain from blockchain technology - one being education! However, blockchain is not yet widely used in education and only a few institutions have adopted it. According to a 2019 survey by Gartner, only 2% of higher education institutions were using blockchain, but 18% planned to do so in the following two years. The main use for blockchain in education so far is for storing and sharing academic records and credentials, but experts believe it could revolutionize education in several ways.
School Curricula
Blockchain technology has the potential to revolutionize the education sector beyond record keeping. It offers secure storage capabilities for digital syllabi and coursework and can make educators' jobs easier through the use of smart contracts. Teachers could program lessons, courses, and exams into a blockchain, which would automatically verify the completion of each task and have the capability to grade exams. Blockchain can also enhance the accreditation process, providing transparency and security, and be used as a decentralized platform for institutions to share information about online courses and programs, helping students find accredited programs.
Student Records
Blockchain technology can streamline record keeping in education by eliminating the time-consuming process of verifying academic credentials. With a digital transcript, institutions accepting transfer students and potential employers can easily access detailed information about attendance, courses taken, and exam results. This technology is useful not only in higher education but also in primary and secondary education. Blockchain-based credentialing can also support lifelong learning, which is becoming increasingly important in a rapidly evolving world. Blockchain's resistance to fraud appeals to educators, but its immutability can be a drawback as it eliminates the possibility of modifying a student's record for legitimate reasons.
Research
Professors contribute significantly to higher education by conducting research and publishing their findings, which can affect their ability to secure funding for future research. Blockchain technology can help authors track how their research is used and protect it from piracy while monitoring its impact, such as citations and use in teaching materials. This tracking can benefit authors in gaining recognition and future funding.
Blockchain-Based Diplomas
Blockchain technology has been used to store and share digital diplomas, allowing students to own and manage their academic credentials. Storing diplomas on a blockchain offers advantages such as convenience, security, and permanence. Blockchain-based diplomas allow students to share their academic achievements with potential employers or schools, and streamline the verification process for higher education institutions. Using blockchain to store and share academic records also gives students ownership and control over their academic identity, and eliminates the need for students to rely on institutions for access to their academic history and achievements.
Tuition Cost
Blockchain can simplify the student tuition payment process, reducing administrative overhead, and potentially lowering tuition costs. The technology has already been used for pay-as-you-go courses and other types of open learning scenarios, relying on smart contracts and cryptocurrency as a payment method. Blockchain can also be used to provide widespread access to open educational resources, allowing for cheap and secure sharing of materials in a public network. The technology could fuel lifelong learning and make college education more accessible and affordable for millions of people.

Token Monetization Innovation (TMI)
SafeMoon has released a new patent pending feature designed to improve the user experience on its DEX (Decentralized Exchange - SafeMoon SWaP), labeling the feature TMI (Token Monetization Innovation).
TMI aims to improve transparency and transaction predictability by charging the exchange fees upfront in the native token and using smart contracts to ensure transparency in token liquidity pairings. It also aims to expand the availability of web3 and enable additional community partnerships with meaningful projects.
