SafeMoon Pulse: November Recap

SafeMoon's monthly Pulse article and video are live!

Layer 2 Ethereum Networks Flip L1 in Transactions per Second

Since September, the total number of transactions per second (TPS) on Layer 2 networks has been higher than the TPS on Ethereum. Currently, Ethereum processes around 12.5 TPS, while the combined TPS of all Layer 2 networks is around 15 TPS. The TPS on Layer 2 networks has been steadily increasing since August 2021. It is expected that the TPS on Ethereum will increase when sharding is implemented, which is not expected to happen until at least late 2023. [Source: BeInCrypto]
