SafeMoon Wallet: iOS BETA Update

iOS BETA Version 3.0.0(9) is now available in Testflight.

Remember to always backup your recovery phrases securely offline before proceeding.
Added the ability to manually refresh the token lists in "Add Tokens" and SWaP "Select Tokens" screens
Improvements to "My Wallets" settings
This BETA build now includes all updates currently available in the release version. - For this build it is recommended to uninstall the previous version.
Be sure to link your wallets in settings, have your recovery phrases and SOS login information saved securely offline before doing so.
As always, the release version is always recommended for normal use.

Tether USD₮ Available in Over 24,000 ATMs Across Brazil on 3 November

Tether Operations Limited (“Tether”), the company operating the blockchain-enabled platform tether.to that powers the largest stablecoin by market capitalization of over US$68 billion, is pleased to announce that SmartPay plans to launch tether tokens (“USD₮”) in over 24,000 ATMs across Brazil.

According to a study from the Instituto Locomotiva, carried out in January 2021, Brazil still has 34 million unbanked adults – that is, people who do not have a bank account or do not use it frequently. Smartpay’s integration of USD₮ into its product will provide millions of people with the opportunity and access to the digital currency ecosystem and new financial revolution.

US acting comptroller urges not to rush crypto regulation

United States Acting Comptroller of the Currency Michael Hsu urged his fellow regulators not to lower their standards when dealing with crypto under the pressure of “being perceived as anti-innovation Luddite.” According to the OCC, it’s necessary to “learn and smartly adapt” to ensure safety, soundness, and fairness regarding the industry.

Hsu made his remarks on crypto during his speech at the Harvard Law School on Oct. 11. The full text of the speech was published on the OCC’s official website.

TRON becomes legal tender in Dominica

Leading blockchain network Tron has inked an agreement with the government of Dominica to make Tron-native tokens authorized digital currency in the Caribbean Island.

Tron founder Justin Sun shared the milestone on Oct. 12, stating that Tron tokens, including TRX, BTT, JST, NFT, USDD, USDT, and TUSD, are accepted as a medium of exchange in Dominica.
