SafeMoon SWaP Maintenance
The SafeMoon SWaP underwent some maintenance overnight with transactions being temporarily suspended. Yesterday SafeMoon Tweeted,
"#SAFEMOONSWAP will be undergoing routine maintenance at 9 pm EST (2 am UTC) and will be down temporarily. Our partners are working with us during this time to ensure a smooth transition. 🙌 Transactions will be suspended during this update."
Galan added that he will be "doing a bit of work later" and let everyone know that "there will be app updates ready during the maintenance window."
After the maintenance ended, SafeMoon announced that they will "continue to enable [...] partners on the swap over the next few hours!"
SafeMoon Education Manager Cats shared,
"Amazing work by everyone! Future upgrades will become so much easier following this maintenance 🥳"
Galan also reminded the community,
"Make sure you update your SafeMoon Wallet in the app stores so you can have the updated SWaP. More tokens will be going live as liquidity is added."

Blockchain Voting
Yesterday SafeMoon CEO John Karony shared some thoughts on the current way voting ballot counting is done. He Tweeted,
“Papercuts are likely at an all time high right now with all the US ballot counting. Papercuts suck… Would be pretty sweet if we could just vote on blockchain. (Do not read into this, SafeMoon is not currently intending to solve that) #blockchain #vote #SAFEMOON #crypto"
But there are other advantages of Blockchain voting. According to this abstract published on PubMed.gov from a study conducted using Blockchain in Electronic Voting Systems, blockchain technology can overcome the issues related to electronic voting systems and offers decentralized nodes. This technology is great due to its end-to-end verification advantages and "is a beautiful replacement for traditional electronic voting solutions due to its distributed, non-repudiation, and security protection characteristics." Gym owners aim to bring NFT memberships to wellness clubs
While many nonfungible token (NFT) projects continue to suffer losses due to the bear market, a number of organizations have begun using NFTs to solve real-world problems.
In particular, NFTs for subscription/membership-based models, or loyalty programs, are gaining traction. This point was highlighted in Forrester’s 2023 NFT and metaverse predications report, which notes: “Brands will pivot from ‘cool’ non-fungible tokens (NFTs) towards loyalty. In 2023, brands will shift their focus to NFTs linked to loyalty, brand experience, and deepening customer relationships.”
Indeed, NFT use cases such as these are being implemented today. For example, Starbucks recently announced an NFT-based loyalty program. Kim Kardashian Seems To Win Crypto Lawsuit
In a tentative court ruling, Kim Kardashian and Floyd Mayweather Jr. won a lawsuit accusing them of scamming EthereumMax investors. According to a complaint filed in January, investors claimed that they paid "inflated prices" for blockchain-based digital assets because EMAX tokens were hyped by the reality star and ex-boxing champion.
The tentative ruling comes just a month after the Securities and Exchange Commission accused Kardashian of failing to disclose that she had been paid $250,000 to post about tokens on Instagram.
