Charles off to college

In case you didn't read it, former SafeMoon VP of Operations Charles Karony tweeted yesterday that he has resigned from his position at SafeMoon to finish out his college degree. To read it and some Q&A the community had for Charles click here.

Community Thoughts about SafeMoon's First Birthday

Since the beginning of March, we have been showcasing some awesome community members who want to share their thoughts and experiences about this past year with SafeMoon and the SafeMoon Army.

The first person to share their story today is Discord community member Stevie!!

How did you get into SafeMoon? I discuss crypto with a friend of mine and back in March 2021 he sent me a message with a link to a video of how to buy SafeMoon. After initially doing nothing I decided to do my own research and upon hearing about reflections and overall liking what I saw, I ended up buying in early April. It was actually my first none mainstream crypto. I have to buy it with a pancake?! How far we’ve come through with having our superb SafeMoon SWaP.

Has SafeMoon affected your life? How? It’s affected my life positively in so many ways. I’ve followed the journey very closely since April and I’ve learned a lot about, not just SafeMoon, but crypto in general too. I believe in the project so much, it’s given me a new hobby really! I’ve got a few people into SafeMoon and they can hear the passion when I talk about it, my girlfriend often asks me, ‘How’s SafeMoon doing’? The bonus for me was the Official SafeMoon Discord, it’s such a warm welcoming community and I’ve gotten to know some truly amazing people. I am very appreciative of that.

Are you excited about the 1st birthday? What are you expecting?

I’m very excited about the birthday! I keep my expectations very neutral though and then I can always be either pleasantly surprised or delighted, that’s a win/win! I can tell you what I’d like though, some merch please so I can represent with a nice hoodie, maybe some NFT news! It’s a month of various surprises, it’s going to be great watching that unfold throughout March. Happy Birthday SafeMoon!

Where do you see SafeMoon going in the next year?

From strength to strength, constantly growing and evolving. Every change being made no matter how big or small is breathing more life into the ecosystem. This space moves so fast and I feel we’ll see a very different picture in another twelve months. I’m looking forward to seeing how many SWaP partners we have by then.

Do you have a fun memory with the SafeMoon Army you’d like to share?

I have too many fun memories. There is a lot of great energy in the Discord and many evenings I find myself crying laughing at something. I did get invited to talk on a Twitter Space on Safemoon/Hodooi relating to NFTs and I really enjoyed that.

Anything else you would like to add to the SafeMoon Army or the team?

To the Army: Trust the process, trust the team and try to be patient. Try not to focus on minor details, but instead take a step back and look at the big picture. Look not for price pumps but to sustainable growth. I wish you all health, happiness and for the reasons you got involved with SafeMoon to come true.

How did you get into SafeMoon?

I got into SafeMoon from a Twitter friend. He DM saying to check it out and helped me buy. People in 2022 won’t know the struggles of buying SafeMoon in 2021 ( 15 steps ) lol now we have the amazing SafeMoon Wallet - make sure to download it on Apple & Android store.

How has SafeMoon affected your life?

Once I purchased SafeMoon I wasn’t sure what was going to happen because I was so new to crypto. Little by little I started understanding what SafeMoon was about as they gave us updates. I look at SafeMoon as giving me an opportunity to become financial free and to help others that are in need. For example, now I don’t have to work till I am like 50 or 60 I can possibly retire at 30 or 35 and actually enjoy my life with my family. I will be the first millionaire in my family because of SafeMoon.

Are you excited about the 1st birthday?

Omg yes, I am super excited. I can’t believe it has been one year. If I can hold for one year I can hold for many more obviously depending on financial situation but everything is good. They say “time flies when you are having fun." It’s true - I am having a blast! HODL

Where do you see SafeMoon going in the next year?

For price predictions i don’t know because anything can happen but I would like to say hopefully the moon but if not we are getting one step closer. Every year is going to get better believe me.

Do you have a fun memory with the SafeMoon Army you’d like to share?

Some of the Army came down to visit Miami, FL and that’s where I live so I got to finally meet them and match who is who with their SafeMoon profiles. We have had so many great times with the Army on Spaces and in tweets ( comments ). One time I was on a SafeMoon AMA Twitter Space and I was picked to be a speaker. I was super nervous because I was next to John and Ryan, but it was an awesome experience getting a chance to chat with them on Spaces. My last one was getting the chance to meet Ryan from the SafeMoon team in person when he came down to Miami. We grabbed some lunch and had a good conversation. The lady took a photo for proof. I would like to meet John Karony next, hopefully that can happen.

Anything else you would like to add to the SafeMoon Army or the team? Thank you to SafeMoon team and Army for everything that has been going on in our 1st year together. I appreciate every single one from the SafeMoon Army. We are literally the strongest community ever and I don’t say that only because I am part of the Army but you can literally see it firsthand. We won the Best Community Award for a reason
