Branding Insight

Here is some insight into SafeMoon's new branding and a little bit about how the idea came to fruition. 💙

"Green is a popular color used on black due to its ability to contrast while being comfortable to the eye. This is why black computer screens with green text were/are a thing.

Pinks/ purples/ reds are common to use with this color scheme as a way to highlight and stand out. But generally are only used as accents as they can hurt to look at on black in large volumes.

Here is the actual color pallet now in use.

The 3D style/shape itself it using an art style that was popularized over the last few years.

It is the same style that was used to create the Windows 11 Wallpaper. You can see an example of it in play [...👇] if you are interested.

As for images... 1 stock image was used as a background during some concept work months

ago, but other than that one behind-the-scenes screenshot, it does not appear in any actual work. All of the SafeMoon branding assets are created in-house using a mix of tools. One of the primary ones is Blender and you can see some examples of the shapes in the edit below."

Since March started, we have showcased some awesome community members who wanted to share their thoughts and experiences about this past year with SafeMoon.

Many in the community have been an immense help behind the scenes.

Jaka, a dedicated SafeMoon Official Facebook Moderator, is sharing his story with us today!

How long have you been a member of the SafeMoon community? How did you first find SafeMoon?

I have been a member since the beginning of March when I first saw TikTok about SafeMoon. At first, I didn’t know what I bought, but as I did more research, I liked the project more and more

Have you shared your enthusiasm for SafeMoon with a friend/family/others?

I got some of my friends in SafeMoon. When there are new updates, they ask me for an explanation (occasionally due to language barriers or technical words)

Which platform do you spend the most time on? What is your favorite part of hanging out with them?

My favorite platform is Facebook. I started helping the community in early April when I joined the non-official SafeMoon group. Soon SafeMoon went deeper into my heart, I was hooked. In July, I got an amazing opportunity to be part of the official SafeMoon group, and I couldn’t turn down that invitation. On my journey, I met a lot of amazing people (moderators, admins, and community members). No wonder why we are one of the strongest communities in the crypto space (edited)

What's been your favorite part of the birthday month so far?

Hmm that's a hard question. Simply I liked all the gifts that SafeMoon prepared so far for the community

What good/funny memory do you have of the Army?

I love how the SafeMoon army is researching what the team is doing, and coming up with different predictions of what the next move might be.

Of the announced products so far, what are you the most excited about?

SafeMoon card! Who wouldn't want to have a dope SafeMoon card that you could use to purchase what you need

Where would you like to see improvements from SafeMoon? What would you like to see? What product would you love to have in the future?

They are already improving every day. Never saw a crypto/tech company listening to the community as they do. That's transparency that you that's rare to see.

I don't really have an answer to what products I'd like to see in the future. I like what they are doing and what they plan to release in the upcoming future.

What are your dreams?

A stress-free life. Just want that people would be nice to each other no matter what. We all live just once, so let's try to make the best of it!

Centralized Vs. Decentralized Exchanges

A little education from SafeMoon CEO John Karony on centralized exchanges (CEX) vs decentralized exchanges (DEX).

"To the user on a CEX and a DEX, it can seem that there is no difference between the user experience. However, there is a big difference. One example of this difference is on a CEX, that transaction or purchase happens OffChain. OffChain is just a jargon word for "it didnt technically happen on the blockchain" (IE on BSC or ETH). This means that while you did send 1 SFM to your friend, it never was actually recorded on the blockchain. It was however recorded on the CEX ledger. When your friend moves their 1SFM from the CEX into their wallet (IE SafeMoon Wallet) then it is recorded on the blockchain. Usually as a transaction (TXHASH) from the CEX Hotwallet to your friend's wallet. I hope that helps a little bit with your understanding.
