School District Turns to Solar Power, Teachers Get Raise from Savings

A rural school district in Arkansas turns to solar power for their energy consumption needs. According to CBS News, once one of the lowest average income districts has become one of the highest thanks to lower electricity costs and the district's use of renewable energy. The savings turning to clean energy has provided the school district has allowed for a raise in teacher's salaries by $15,000! The School began their Solar Panel use in 2017. Read more.

PayPal is collaborating with the cryptocurrency wallet MetaMask to provide a simple method for purchasing cryptocurrency.

From PayPal to MetaMask, users will be able to purchase and transfer ether. The firms announced Wednesday that PayPal will integrate its buy, sell, and hold cryptocurrency services with MetaMask Wallet in an effort to give users more alternatives for transferring digital assets from their platforms.


According to a press release, users will be able to choose their PayPal accounts as a payment method to acquire ether (ETH) from within the MetaMask software thanks to a cooperation between the payments company and MetaMask developer ConsenSys. The offering provides a seamless, simple solution to buy Ether and send it through PayPal to MetaMask. [Source: CoinDesk]


Ripple Vs. SEC Case Might Be Settled On This Date, Cardano Founder Claims

Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson has made an explosive claim about the legal dispute between Ripple Labs and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in one of his infamous Ask Me Anything (AMA) videos.


Hoskinson commented on a possible settlement date for the case between Ripple and the SEC. The Cardano leader has reportedly received information that a settlement between the two parties could be made public on Dec. 15. However, the Cardano founder warned that the decision will have a “catastrophic” impact on the crypto industry in the now two-year-long legal battle if his information proves to be true.[Source: Bitcoinist]
